Past Events:
Sunday, September 23, 2007:  Stall at Sunflower Festival better than expected.  Volunteers sold vintage Transformers icons to attendees in order to raise funds towards the building of our church.  Over $500 was raised at this fair!  Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work.

Wednesday, September 26th: The Cassette Cadets met at the house of Rebecca Hillburn, for religious education and crafts. Brownies and pigs in a blanket were served. The children made toilet paper roll Autobots. Pictures will be posted shortly.

Thursday, September 27th: Spaghetti dinner and reaffirmation of faith. Ashley Payne was kind enough to host and Michelle Luquette was kind enough to cook. Thanks, girls!

Saturday, September 29, 2007: Members met up at the house of Becca Hillburn for the Reenctment of the Defeat of Megatron and the celebration of Nick Zapolla's birthday. Afterwards they dined at Serrano's and visited Target. Meeting for Cybertron Social was rescheduled for October 5th.

Upcoming Events:
Tickets for October’s Celebration of the Matrix luncheon will go on sale October 2, 2007.  Please talk to Rebecca Hillburn if you are interested in buying or selling tickets.  Proceeds will go towards the church fund.

Those interested in participating in our first official church commercial will be asked to meet up in New Orleans on Saturday, October 6th. Please bring a white tee-shirt and some fabric paint. Children and pets most welcome.

The website will be updated within the next two weeks. If you have pictures or videos from our past events and are interested in donating them, please email them to Rebecca some time this week. If you are interested in helping edit some of the videos, please contact Ashley Payne.

Current Events:
Our congregation will be meeting Friday, October 5th in Baton Rouge to discuss plans for the upcoming Cybertron Social.  Hopefully our photographer, Ashley Payne, will be able to make it.

Blaster’s Cassette Cadets will be meeting Wednesday, October 3rd in the house of Ashley Payne. Please bring a cannister of glitter and some graham crackers.

Children interested in joining the Cassette Cadets are required to have a doctor’s consent, in addition to the parental form filled out and signed by an attending parent.  Parents are expected to attend at least one meeting per month, and are asked to host one meeting every six months.  Parents with multiple children in the Cassette Corps are asked to donate refreshments as well.  Dues are paid at the end of the month.
